This project had us putting the pedals to the pavement as it was a departure from the norm for us. We generally build restaurants, in this case we did the opposite and transformed a restaurant into a 2 story, 8000 SqFt, full-service cycling center in downtown Lexington, MA. As you can imagine the demolition process was quite involved as everything had to go. The main level was repurposed into a retail sales floor to show off the latest and greatest of bicycle technology, including a specialty room for the purpose of taking your new wheels for a test drive. The basement level, which was once storage, is now a state-of-the-art service center for assembly and repairs. Sometimes stepping outside the project comfort zone is a great way to evolve and learn new things, what could have had us spinning our wheels, turned out to be a fun project.
