M&M Construction was happy to design this beautiful board game tavern in the Mission Hill neighborhood of Boston! The owner of Tavern of Tales had designed the concept as his college thesis, and we were excited to help him bring it to life in the Boston Metro! The concept of the space was to create a tavern feel with private rooms for board games, providing the opportunity to use audio & narration in the games, providing patrons with a unique & immersive board game experience.
The rooms are designed with acoustic sound panels that limit the internal & external noise levels in the room. Additionally, there is also a bar & outside seating area for pre or post-game festivities. Each room can be reserved for up to 6 people, and the Tavern’s capacity sits at about 80 patrons.
This particular project was a challenge because there was construction happening both adjacently & across the street from our project, so there was a constant stream of workers moving in and out of the area. We were able to complete the project on time & budget, cooperating with the other companies sharing the space to ensure that everyone could work without issue!
Drop by the Tavern of Tales today for a wonder selection of appetizers, cocktails & games, and the beautiful space that our team was able to help the owner create! We’re proud to have been involved on this incredible renovation!
